According to some studies Sulforaphane appears to be most protective against colon and prostate cancer but has also been studied for its effects on many other cancers, such as breast, leukemia, pancreatic and melanoma. The compound, sulforaphane, was particularly abundant in broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage, kale and Brussels sprouts. Sulforaphane is naturally occurring in broccoli sprouts, which has the highest amount of sulforaphane.
